Where have we been?

Well it has been a long while since we wrote, but we have a very good reason! La Grolla has been busy preparing for new a product range to be added to our business - over a year of discussions, planning, buying trips and countless phonecalls later and we are super excited to be launching a superb range of handmade rugs, decorative lighting and homewares at this year's Decoration+Design fair in Melbourne this month.

La Grolla were delighted to be featured in the Decoration+Design Blog (have a look here) and an interview about the new ranges with Keith Knox was published on the Furniture Online website. You can get a sneakpeek of just a few of the new arrivals on these links, but you really must come down and see us at Decoration+Design if you can. Not only will we have a brand new framed art range, we have a double sized stand to accommodate our new furnishings and rugs as well.

GHA Gift Fair Melbourne

It has been awhile since our last post, and wow have we ever been busy! We were absolutely inundated with orders from Decoration+Design and GHA Gift Fair in July and August and we are now in the midst of a mountain of orders for upcoming display home openings - work is certainly keeping us on our toes!


New Vintage Botanicals

We had a great response to our stands at both Decoration&Design and GHA Gift Fair this year (as the truckload of orders shows!) and we were really pleased with the results. It is always great to see our clients face-to-face after speaking with them by phone for so long, as well as establishing new contacts within the industry. BUT we are glad there is a wee break before the next trade show, which will be GHA Gift Fair in Sydney in February.

We had a very successful stand at Decoration+Design this year, many designers agreed this was one of their best shows, and we think we had the best collection we have done in a long time! Thanks to everyone who came down, it was great to catch up with clients old and new.

Colour is back! Bloomer Tiles series

Colour is back in a big way and it was very apparent on the stand with the Bloomer Tiles series which proved very popular, keep an eye out for them to be uploaded on our website in the next few weeks. Our 'retro wall' was a colourful eye-catcher as well.

All stock from Decoration+Design will be uploaded onto our website in the next few weeks. It is crazy trade fair season at the moment and we are currently in the midst of the GHA Gift Fair, keep an eye out for the next post from Gift Fair soon!

Decoration+Design 2011

La Grolla is very excited to be exhibiting at this year's Decoration & Design exhibition at Melbourne Exhibition Centre in from 21-24 July 2011. I know it's early but we are putting together another range just for the show so we are getting excited!

Make sure you register for either Decoration+Design or Furnitex in time and we'll see you there!

The site includes images of all our framed stock lines, plus we are working on a client login feature for pricing, with a view to adding a shopping cart facility later this year - which will make online ordering a breeze...
